Rice with Almond & Dates

1 cup rice (white, brown, or wild rice) ½ cup chopped toasted almonds 1/3 cup chopped pitted dates ½ tsp.  Grated orange zest (optional) Directions Cook rice according to package directions. When done, add almonds and dates and orange zest, if used, tossing to combine well. Serves 4 as a side dish.
