1 cup cooked Garbanzo Beans 1 cup cooked Adzuki Beans
- cup cooked Kidney Beans
- 1/2 quarts water or vegetable stock 1/2 cup Pearled Barley
- stalks celery, chopped
- carrot, thinly sliced
16 oz. can whole peeled tomatoes, chopped 12 oz. can tomato juice
- tbsp. Unrefined Olive Oil
- onion, chopped 1/2 cup parsley, chopped 1/2 cup spinach, chopped
- cloves garlic, mashed 1 tsp. Oregano
- bay leaf 4 tbsp. red wine
- tbsp. Parmesan cheese 2 tbsp. tamari soy sauce
Salt to taste Sauté onion, parsley, spinach, garlic, and herbs in olive oil until tender. • Mix all ingredients except wine, soy sauce, and parmesan cheese.
Directions
- Simmer covered for 1 hour.
- Stir in wine, soy sauce and Parmesan cheese before serving.
